North Wales Police - Your Community Your Choice

A hard hitting forum theatre performance for Year 12 & 13

Funded originally by £2000 from PACT in 2019, in association with officers from North Wales Police we created an interactive workshop called It Could Happen To You.

Delivered to Year 12 & 13 throughout Denbighshire, this hard-hitting two hander performance tells the story of Michael who sadly lost his life in a car accident told from the perspective of his grieving Mum and Police Officer Jones first on the scene. The workshop encourages new drivers to take more responsibility on the road and be mindful of the Fatal Five.

In 2020 we were received £5000 of further funding from Your Community Your Choice Awards voted by the public to make use of money redirected from criminal activities. This means from January 2022 we can take our workshops into Denbighshire, Flintshire, Wrexham and Conwy.

Chester Zoo

In the summer of 2018, we were invited to be part of a one-of-a-kind celebration!

We celebrated the amazing worlds of Chester Zoo’s 21,000 incredible animals and brilliant gardens.

We were commissioned by the zoo to provide an interactive family theatre performance for the Wild Worlds Festival which ran every weekend throughout the summer, from Saturday 26 May to Sunday 30 September 2018.

Tree, Plant, Bee & Mi

A crowd-pleasing show performed by professional actors designed to raise awareness of plant blindness and illustrate the important role of plants in the world.

The show was packed full of opportunities for children and families to learn more about plants and encourage people to explore and appreciate the nationally significant plant collection at the zoo.

In the performance, the lead role of the gardener Mimi, was assigned the task of re-potting a rare Nepanthe plant for it to bloom and to encourage the all-important pollinators like Bee. Meanwhile another character Tree needed the wind to spread his seeds so saplings could grow.

These playful performances spread their love of nature and fun to all those who crossed our path. Performed by our company of professional actors.

Harry, Bee & Rose

A family show delivered by two professional actors designed to create awareness about connecting with wildlife.

Harry, Bee & Rose was originally commissioned by Chester Zoo in September 2019 to perform at it's Wildlife Connections weekend. The play focuses on Bee helping Rose to see how she can become more aware of wildlife sharing her space. By creating connections from one wildlife-friendly space to the next we can create wildlife highways through our neighbourhoods and protect the precious wildlife that live there.
