Working In
Our Community

Community engagement is at the heart of the Denbigh Workshop.

Working Together for a Stronger Community

Empowering Through Creativity, Engagement, and Support

The Denbigh Workshop is a community organisation that promotes creativity, education, and wellbeing through arts-based programs and engagement initiatives. We offer inclusive opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to participate in workshops, performances, and awareness events.

Our programs—ranging from community choirs and drama workshops to road safety and dementia support—aim to inspire positive change, reduce isolation, and build stronger community connections.

We work with local organisations, schools, and professionals to deliver projects that address social issues and promote cultural engagement.

If you're interested in collaborating with us or would like The Denbigh Workshop to bring one of our programs to your community, reach out to us today at thedenbighworkshop@gmail.com

Promoting wellbeing through singing

Our community choir has been active since 2015. Our aims to reduce loneliness and isolation, increase a sense of belonging and wellbeing and increased health are just some of the benefits of singing in a group. Our choir is fully inclusive. If you'd like to sing regardless of age, ability or experience then we're the choir for you. Sessions are fun and relaxed with no need to read music.

Sessions are facilitated by Tracy Spencer a professional West End performer.

Community Choir is coming back from January 2022 at the Eirianfa Community Centre, Factory Place, Denbigh every Wednesday from 7pm.

We have received a small grant from the Welch Church Act fund to encourage people to take part and remove the economic barrier.
