Inclusive Learning

In 2018 & 2019 we ran ten weeks of Awesome Autism workshops, enabling young people with Autism to access drama sessions, at Create A Smile in Towyn. These were fully funded by Denbighshire and Conwy County Councils.

The workshops helped participants to communicate more effectively, work as a team and express themselves in a safe environment. With two professional actors and two support workers numbers were minimized to allow one to one working and build trust and rapport.

Volunteering for the Denbigh Workshop couldn’t be easier, with your enthusiasm, skills and time we can make a difference to the people we work with through the creative arts. We're looking for volunteers with admin skills or experience of working with children.
