Arts Award

We offer tuition in courses with Arts Award working at Explore, Discover Bronze or Silver level.

Bronze Arts Award is a Level 1 qualification in the Arts. With a minimum of 40 guided learning hours and 20 independent hours open to young people aged 11 - 25. Young people collect evidence of an individual arts log or portfolio of their experiences, developing their interest, knowledge and skills through actively participating in any art form. They experience an arts event and share their views on it, research their art inspiration and then finally share their art skill with others.

We have successfully delivered Bronze Arts Award to young people on the 15 week ADTRAC project in Wrexham in 2020 and a 14 week TRAC Bronze Arts Award project with young people from Ysgol Grango at the Stiwt Theatre. 2021

Also 32 of our Saturday Workshop students have successfully achieved Explore Arts Award. 2022

Volunteering for the Denbigh Workshop couldn’t be easier, with your enthusiasm, skills and time we can make a difference to the people we work with through the creative arts. We're looking for volunteers with admin skills or experience of working with children.
